The end of the world scenario via nuclear war may not be the most expected way anymore but this film concentrates more on the disintegration of society.
I dont know if this link has been posted before, but finding the full film on youtube I know a few of you would be interested to see it.
This tv film was filmed in my home town of sheffield in the UK and quite a few local people were "extras" and some of the scenes were shot a few hundred yards from my home.
I saw it when i was about 18 years old, theres none of the fantastic hollywood special effects, but the war and the aftermath are truly chilling.
It explains a little why I have always tried to be self sufficient for the past 1/4 century .
