If you go to this web site, http://www.letssaythanks.com, you can pick out a thank you card and include a message for the recipient. Xerox will print the card and it will be included in a care package sent to a soldier who is currently serving in Iraq. You can't choose who gets it, but it will go to some member of the armed services.
Whether or not you support Bush or the war, these men and women deserve to be reminded every day that the people for whom they risk their lives care about them and support them as people and soldiers.
Sending the card is FREE and you DO NOT have to provide any personal information other than your name and hometown for the signature. NO addresses or email addresses are even asked for.
I've already sent one for both me and my wife. I hope every Forum member and every guest who reads this will send one, too. It only takes a few seconds, but it will mean a lot to someone who's far from home in a very dangerous situation.
Thank you.
