I noticed that there wasn't a Facebook group for fans of BHM, so I started one this morning. You can join the group here (http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=69441194271).

Too many facebookers out there. I won't be joining them.

Thanks for the offer but I am bothered by things such as facebook. *I'd rather not advertise myself on the internet. *Engaging in this forum is all the excitement I can handle. *

Even though I have a Facebook account, I do not go there very often. I am not a fan of Facebook. I just don't like the way it is set up. Also, I think the BWH forum, the chat, and the pm's are all I need to keep in touch with other forum members and magazine fans.
I think you have a good idea, but I would recommend joining us in the chat room and on the various forums here instead..... but I have to respectfully decline your offer.

I have a Facebook page that is convenient for me to stay in touch with folks I left behind. I let them know what we are doing on the farm on a week by week and sometimes day to day basis. It is easier than writing letters! LOL I restrict it to "friends ONLY" however - and I am very particular (or as particular as I CAN be!) about who sees my page by who signs on as a "friend". I join no groups on there.
Mostly what I do on there, though, is quick chats with the kids when we are both or all online, and play MyFarm when I have a little down time, though!

Well, I joined, but I seem to have lost where it got to on my Facebook page. Such is life.

I did visit the page on facebook. Can you legally use the name of the magazine, or do you already have permission? Just a question.

Seeing that I put my face in the book, I venture this opinion: Oliver would have told Dave or Annie, by now, and we would have heard back if there were a problem. You don't have to be someone to be their fan, so I guess that covers it; unless they decide to have a say in it. Even so, it is a good & necessary question.
WELL! I just peeked in on the 18 members, there is one there by the name of Annie Tuttle: guess its OK, then. :)
