I thought I would share just a few of my pics. I have been here since May 1998. Ten years later I am still building a small 24 x 24 house (LOL) which is 100% off-grid and uses Solar electricity and wood heat. The house is near the rear of the 160 acres so it is about 3/8 mile from the road.

This is a pic of Rufus on the west end of the dam. This is the largest of 3 ponds on the place.
As of now, I haul my water but I have also just started to collect rainwater. Below the pond dam is my garden on one side of the creek. There is a gravity flow hydrant built into the pond dam and I water my garden from it... Works great.....
