My life's dream has been to homestead/survival living in the North ME Woods. I am not having much luck in connecting with the right people on getting info about the area. Area there any northern Mainers on here?
I did get a job at a sporting camp but after 2 weeks found out the couple had been in the woods too long and he was violent and after he hit me with a chunk of firewood I got out of there fast.
I have not given up the dream. What I am in hopes of is connecting with someone who has an old family camp that noone uses anymore, the more rustic/remote the better. Another option is just a peice of land to lease and build on it myself. Anyone interested in taking on this adventure with me? Anyone already there looking for someone to share the workload?
