I want to tan a deer hide for the first time this year .Cabelas has a tanning kit, is it worth buying & how hard is it to do ? thanks Dorothy

I did one....the endless scraping is what I remember the most! (After 24 YEARS that is still what I remember the most!) Be prepared for a long, hard tedious job - company to help/talk to is nice!
