Has anyone made or have directions to make kitchen cabinets from wood palets?

I do believe one of the recent issues of BHM has an article on making cabinets with pallet and old barn wood.

With a few reservations, you can make any type of cabinet you wanted. All you would have to do is learn how to mill and glue up panels with the narrow wood available from pallets. So once armed with the knowledge and skills and tools to manufacture wider stock, you can then attack the process of making the finished cabinets. There are some designs that lend themselves to pallet wood more than others, but it isn’t necessary to restrict yourself to those styles. It isn’t so much a plan for cabinets made from pallets, it is what kind of cabinet do you like, find the plans and determine if it can it be made from pallets.

I spent a couple of hours dismantling several pallets I had laying around for the white oak boards in them, with the idea of using the wood to rebuild my reloading bench, and see how it turns out before I get too ambitious and tear the kitchen apart further.

my suggestion, if you're gonna make ANYTHING with pallet wood, is to take the pallet apart and let the boards set a few weeks to see if it decides to take a warp -
Pallet wood can be a real treat to work with. I've found mahogany, oak, purpleheart and even zebrawood (not alot of it, but enough for some trim on a couple jewelry boxes.) One thing you definitely want to look out for is treated wood. Many pallets, regardless of the type of wood, will be treated as they are used all over the world in all kinds of weather/conditions/etc... Unless I was 100% positive the wood was clean and untreated, I would never use it in my kitchen, or anywhere it could come into contact with foods/med's/etc...
