This is the most interesting bump gate design I've seen...there's a delayed catch that holds the gate open for a few seconds before it swings back and latches.....yet it's fairly simple!

My question is....How does the delay work? There's a video on the "benefits" page, but I have dial-up and in won't load and play completely. *>:(
I'm guessing that when the gate hits the delayed catch and the hook falls down on the gate rail that the friction against the hook as it shimmies back and forth several times causes the delay until it finally drops back releasing the gate.
What do you think?
