I overheard two guys that worked in a lumber yard talking about the new treatment in lumber before we get it. And they were saying that it eats the nails in two or three seasons, so the wood wont stay together when built into something. I asked is that the acd or green arsenic treated wood. They just looked at me kinda like a deer in a headlights on a car. I finally got tired of being stared out and turned and walked off. This is how it is around here if they don't know you. Has anyone else heard this? I know the treated arsenic wood will eat regular nails eventually.

Yea. The new treated wood is bad on nails. 2-3 seasons sounds right. You have to use stainless nails or install bushings and sleaves to separate the nails from the wood.
I actually saw Rich build the structure for a deck on This Old House out of the new wood. He used poly tubing through a hole drilled to the OD of the tubing. Nail went through the tube with a bushing to protect the head. Then the decking went on with stainless screws.

Maybe they looked at you that way because it's "ACQ" instead of "ACD"?? 8)
Anyway, there are fasteners out now besides stainless that won't rust in ACQ lumber. They are galvanized and coated after...
