A friend of mine had an idea to start building log type homes like this to be used for hunting cabins in our area in the Northwoods of Wisc.

Sadly the idea didn't fly because our county has put in the zoning ordinances a minimum size restrictions for homes, even hunting cabins. This totally angered some folks that live here, because we felt that they were trying to keep out people who couldn't afford larger homes, ie. poor people like me!!

It is all about tourist dollars up here, the county never takes into consideration where the people who SERVE the tourists are suppose to live!
