wondering if anyone knows how to make wool insulation? Got lots of free wool and a building needing some insulation!

Wow - I always thought they were talking about fiberglass wool for insulation - but I looked it up on the net and found this site:

And they're using REAL wool. Maybe it will help you find out just what they do. Anything with air pockets should be a natural insulator - and real wool will be a LOT healthier to put up than that itchy fiberglass stuff.
It might take something like Borax powder to make it varmit resistant, though. (That's what made our paper insulation both fire and bug resistant.) That's also what they use in the wool they sell on this website. Think about what would happen if you got moths in that stuff!

Other than that, it should be superior insulation! Lucky you to have a good source of it!
