I have found a couple of dealers that have the stripped lower's in stock for a fair price...Has anyone out there seen any manufacturer's to stay away from...from what I have inspected they look very good and I am going to pick up my 3...just curious to see what experience some of you may have had. Thanks.

There is a ton of information here.

Good luck getting the parts to complete them, hopefully your not in a hurry. It will free up eventually, just not for a while in my opinion.

Hesse or whatever they have changed the name too now. Run, don't walk, run away.

What's the deal with Olympic?

Late last year, I bought what I call my "Obama Special", an Olympic Arms A-1-sighted CAR-15 for a truck rifle. After the initial barrel break-in period, it's been one of my more accurate AR's, especially for a CAR.

I'd hate to have a Colt M-4 bangin' around in the truck, especially for that $1600+ price tag. I wanted to have a rifle with me these days 24/7, and at the $675 price tag, I took a shot with it. Guess I got a good one. ;D

Got it.

The build kit I wanted came in yesterday and the lower receiver was here last week. Some places were out of stock other's were fine. I went through ShotGun News and found what I wanted and talked to people that had ordered before then just placed the order...yeah, some places were out 6-8 months, but other's were fine...based on what I what I found, there is more hype than reality which is pushing prices up.
