I Just picked this up today at Wally-World.

I was lookin around my area for a used .22 bolt action rifle.

Most single shot .22's in my area run for about $100 used.

So this is my first out of the box firearm I own. Put about 120 rounds through it today at the range plinking everything. Good time. Oh and $117 isnt bad I didnt think! Very happy with the thing.

Mr B was the name of a parakeet I had as a 4th grader.

Beware the Wal Mart firearm.

On every internet board I am apart of someone has to comment on the Mr.B *???

I think picking a new firearm up off a shelve from your local Stuff-Mart instead of an old Eastern Bloc hardwood rifle case is quite exiting.

I was looking to pick up a Toz-78 but couldn’t find one around here for sale.

I didn't think Wal-Mart still sold firearms. They don't carry any of them in any of the Colorado stores i've been in to.

That's a pretty nice looking first gun Mr.B Savage is a good company, been around for many years. The rifle should serve you well. So now you are a proud gun owner, one step higher into the ranks of free men. All you need now is a Ruger mark II as a companion gun and you are set. Be safe and enjoy your rifle.

Ya I'm pretty happy with it. Its my first non-surplus unused firearm. All my other 15 firearms are surplus Eastern-Bloc stuff.

Yeah, sorry about treating you like the first time gun owner. I love military surplus guns and have owned a bunch of them. 1903A3 my favorite. Just something about a new gun out of the box. Really makes it special.
