I've been on SimpleLiving.net for a while, but the constant Bush-bashing, the over-reaching PC-ness, and the whole "time-outs and use your inside voice" nature of the place has just become intolerable for me.

I was searching desperately for a forum that would offer simple living, back to the land, self sufficiency with respect for this country and it's constitution. I was kind of surprised when I recognized the cover of the first Anthology. I picked it up at a yard sale somewhere and have read EVERY article at least a half dozen times. I will be subscribing right after the holidays.

Been there too and left for the same reasons. The atmoshere there
is really something.
