Well, I think you can stop looking. I'm no expert but, I've sold guns and worked in gunshops for the last 30 years and I've never seen one. Bolt or lever actions only....well Remington did make the Model 8 and 81 semi auto's in .30 Remington. Which is like a rimless 30-30.

Well in 13 years I have found these, the only one :
Savage mod.170:.30-30win. or .35rem.,(rare)cal.,22in barrel,folding leaf sight,3 shot tube mag.,checkered pistol grip stock.Mfg 1970-81.$155 at 98%,$55 at 60%.Savage model 170C,.30-30 only similar to 170,18 1/2in barrel.Mfg 1974-81.$170 at 98%,$55 at 60%.
Saw one at a gunshow, they feel just like a shotgun, but are rumored to shoot well. Go with the bolt action .30-30 like I did :)

I did see those at gunbroker.com. I'm a little skeptical to buy stuff like that from people but i did see that they had an A+ rating.....I do have a 30 30 lever action, but heard the pumps are much better.... My grandfather had 2 which are now owned by my aunt and uncle ...However, both guns need some parts to them...He passed away about 20 years ago and I would love to hunt just like he did... I know he would be proud of me!!! Thanks for your help....

One in mine too. Will have to go back to check price. I personally like the Rem. 760 30.06.

None of the gun or pawn shops around where I live have a 30 30 pump rifle. I may have to buy the one I saw at gunbroker. com....Not sure of what to do.

I saw a Savage 170 in 30-30 at a gun show here in Fredericksburg, TX several months ago, but the guy was asking $300 for it, which is WAY too much. Last year's edition (27th) of Fjestad's Blue Book of Gun Values lists it for $180 in 100% condition.

Blue book isn't exactly the best advisor, but honestly, the Particular line of pumps that gun is modeled after were not well known for longetivity or reliabilty. The bolt lock up and release is kind of iffy, and a PITA to get back right. Got two Springfield (savages) of that variety now with the same problem.
Lock up and release.
Lever is most reliable, easiest to find parts for and repair. Unless it is just something you want, not much of a SHTF gun.
