new shot gun ?

I'm in the market for a new shot gun . I am looking at the Mossburg 590 SS or 590 A1.
I would like to know from people who own these ,
How would you rate it?
How does it compare to the Rem.870 ?
What problems have you found with it ?

I've only owned the Mossburg 500's but am absolutely in love with the design. Safe, reliable, and slick first comes to mind.

I have the 590-A1, it is a great gun no trouble. Loaded up it is heavy. The 870 is a little slicker working. Both are fine guns.
