I still have my first shotgun a single shot 12ga Revelation. I bought a semi auto 12ga Beretta 1200fp when I got out of law enforcement. The Beretta is used for hunting and is my main HD weapon.

Red Label and an 1100 in 28 gauge, plus a couple of 12 gauges and a .410 double. I was given an LC Smith 16 gauge and I'm spending more than I should to have it refurbished. It is a beauty!

Shotgunwise I have but two. Both Rem. 870s. a twelve with two barrels (one filly rifled) the other with mod. choke. The other shotgun is a twenty with mod. choke but I use an imp. cylinder with slugs during deer season.

A 20 ga flintlock fowler that I use for hunting squirrels and rabbits and it's great fun.

A cheap 20 ga single shot that I use for hunting pheasants.

I'm saving up and next year hope to buy an antique British made smallbore SxS for pheasant hunting.

About half dozen, I've picked up in over 50 years of
Hunting & trading.
I have a couple 3 Mossbergs, one a EXtra full Turkey gun, one a 590. Oh, got a Stoeger Upland sxs.
Got a H&R single my DS#2 traded me for a Ithaca
Mod.66 Supersingle, 'cause he had to have it.
Uhhm, got a Remington DSW likes. All of them are 12's.

You just accumulate them, I guess.
Sometimes Friends are visiting & want to go out with ya, for a little hunt, need to borrow one.
I don't think you could have too many.
Guns are Fun.

Currently an old Browning bird gun. I believe it's an 'A10', but I may be mistaken. It belonged to my late step dad. But I'm currently leaning towards a Remington 870 wingmaster. At least that's the one that's been recommended to me. I want to go fondle a couple, the Rem 870 and the Mossy 500 or 590 and see which one 'feels' right.
