I tried the "Butter rich dough" recipe in the "Zo" manual last night. You make the dough in the machine and then transform it into rolls of various kinds.

Oh my! THey came out wonderful! I put a few in a muffin pan, and some I just made various shapes and tossed them on a cookie sheet to bake.

Kurt broke the "don't eat it warm" rule big time! I did get some to taste at least. ;-) Even the next day the leftovers were wonderful.

Karen, seems like these would make great hamburger rolls, correct?

Now Kurt is hooked - won't be hard to get that Nutrimill in here next. ;D

Good news, nearly any enriched dough will make good burger buns. *:D

I make 2 oz. of dough for small burger buns and 3 oz. of dough for larger buns. *You may find you like them even bigger, but I ration our servings from the bread/grain group. *

If you scale the dough balls before you form them for burger buns, they'll be close to the same size and will rise and bake in about the same amount of time. *Be sure to pat the dough balls to about 1/2-inch thick - and oh, yes, handle the dough with oiled hands. *;)
