Hi,

Anyone have experience with Wolf in this round? Good or ill. Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,
Booker

(donning my flame suit)

I shoot it all the time in my ar's I have had no problems with it at all and accuracy is comparable to most us made factory ammo.

It burns real dirty though. Lots of cleaning involved even after as few as 20 rounds fired.

The steel cased ones are not reloadable. Some people will argue with me as to their reliability but most reliability issues with ar's in particular have to deal with junk magazines. I only use factory or military magazines and make I make sure to clean them and keep them in good shape.

The newer wolf steel cases have a polymer coating that is supposed to aid in reliability but I haven't had any problems with them even before they put on the polymer. as we all know certain firearms are picky about the kind of ammo you feed em so reliability might depend on the type of rifle you intend to use em with. Both of my rifles are bushmasters and will shoot anything.

I've put several K through mine with no problems. I reload but I just can't get close to the 150.00 per K they sell at. Got some SS109 but other than a shiney case I can't tell a difference.
