This directly from the section under profile:

"Personalized Picture:
Select one or specify a web path (ex: http://www.mypage.com/mypic.gif) to your own image.
Please note that your image has to be a gif or jpg, that it will be resized to 80 pixels wide, and that the file size SHOULD NOT be over 10k."

After that there is a checkbox and a location to place to enter the path to your picture.

So, take your picture, resize it. *You can use most any photo editing software or even MS paint to do so. *Once that is done, place it somewhere online so you can access it. *I believe most people use photobucket.

If you still have troubles, let me know and I'll resize it and stick it somehwhere on my site for you.

Thank's, Trip. I'll give a try if I can find a way to downsize the image
a bit. I may ask my son to help me since I'm not a computer guy at
all.

I found a program called xNview. It's free and can be downloaded from:
http://pagesperso-orange.fr/pierre.g/xnview/endownload.html

The little devil is so handy I prefer it to the windows viewer. It will even make jpegs from your paste buffer or scanners.

It navigates on the left - on the menu bar there is a folder tree - click on that.

When you call up the picture, select View from the pull down menu, select Auto Image Size and then select Fit Image to Window, all. That makes the picture fit in your screen. You can scroll through all the pictures in the folder using the mouse wheel.

To resize a picture, select Image from the pull down menu and select Resize. A dialog box will appear, the top set of numbers is pixels. When you tweak one number, the other will tweak to stay in proportion. You have to save the resized picture somewhere.

Hope that helps. Man, this thing has saved me a lot of agravation and I don't even use 10% of it's capabilities.

Regards,
Pat
