Cuz I just bought it. ;-)
Deberosa II comes with that tractor, brush hog, cultivator and blade. Of course I have yet to get within 3000 miles of Deberosa II also but soon!!!

Really kind of tough to tell from so far away. I think I am seeing Blue and White so that may be a Ford or Long tractor.
Can you post a better picture that is closer?

Its either a Ford Jubilee painted up in wrong color or a Ford 600. My guess is its a 600 possibly a 700.

Oh you guys are so picky! I have a question in to the current owner to find out what it is. ;-)
It is blue though, I know that much. Blue and white.

I would guess it's a Ford. Hey.. weren't the later White's also blue? It seems I had a neighbor that had a blue and white tractor about 15 years ago that was fairly new at the time and I may be wrong, but I thought it was a "White."

I am still waiting to hear from the current owner what it is... I think it may be a Ford of some kind.
Almost all roadblocks are cleared for funding! The attorney blessed the road agreement so that is a great thing, as it was going to stop the funding since this is on a gravel road. ::) The appraisal is next but that should not be an issue with this place and the price I am paying for it.
One more week and I start the trek to VA with my dogs and cats!

Can I ask a question? You say the attorney blessed the road agreement? does that mean that it is on a private road that where you and the neighbors are responsible for the upkeep? just curious. Our roads here all belong to the counties and towns... for the most part.... just curious.
I'm envious. Wanna trade farms? LOL

Yes the last mile of gravel road is private with an agreement between the people living on it. It's a hunting cabin kind of development area. I would live at the very end of that road.
And - well no... not trading. ;-)
Two people looked at Deberosa today and are in love with it!!! They are both off figuring out offers. One is an organic farmer who leases property down the road and has been putting together a business plan for a small farm loan, just needed the right place to fund, and the other is a family who just fell in love with the place and he's got VA financing.
Not bad since the sign went up yesterday!

Not a word! Was busy getting the inspection deals out of the way. Turns out these people are strapped so I backed off on repairing stuff we can do ourselves when we get there. (will have long list for Kurt for his arrival!)
I guess I will just have to be surprised - like a great big Christmas gift!

ya done good! lol
The 2000 is a good tractor, and it looks to be in good shape too... I'd like it better if it was diesel, instead of gas though...
It's a pretty good 30 pto hp tractor, that in many ways, is a lot more tractor than you had... You will probably miss the MFWD and loader though...
DM
Deb, you got a dandy nice little tractor. Just the right size for maintaining your road and doing chores around Deberorsa. Looks like she even got a fresh coat of paint, tires, and some refurb. recently.

Thanks, I wondered if it was gas instead of diesel - oh well...
Are there loaders to go on those tractors?
I'll make do with it for sure - and think out what the next step will be but it's good to have it to begin with.

I don't know if they made loaders just for that tractor but someone here will know. You can usually find a loader to fit almost any tractor. You can always start watching Craig's List and your local farm auctions. I buy most things at auction if they don't stupid on the bidding! LOL... I've also done a lot on Craig's List.

Yes you can get a loader for that tractor, but i don't think i would... The 2000 is a pretty good tractor, and you just may be OK with it as it is...
I'd use it as is, and on down the road you can always sell it, and buy a MFWD loader tractor if you want one...

a loader on those older small tractors is not too bad if you control yourself and select a SMALL bucket - those old front suspensions not engineered for a f.e.l. can be hammered into the ground pretty quick -

And these tractors have a stressed block- so you need to install the appropiate braces to use a loader-Kevin
