I put together a wood splitter that will just about take on anything. Sure takes the work out of splitting wood.
It has a 5inch cyl with an A frame for picking the wood up using an 8000lb hyd winch. the knife is built in a T fashion so you just take off two pieces off the bottom of the block keepint the rest hanging in the tongs.
I posted it in you tube for fun. I have since changed the engine to a honda, what a difference.
If you would like to see it in action, go to you tube under woodsplitters, then type in plumbstriaight, watch the spelling as I put in an extra i, typo.
I know this is a bit much for most homeowners, but if you have large wood and neighbors that like getting out and working together for the winters wood, this sure makes it go faster.
