I have no experience with tractors and I would like some info. I have a chance to bid on a 1964 international model 424 tractor in pretty good condition. It is a gas model. Does anybody know more or less what it would be worth?
Also he has an Oliver 13 hole grain drill, what the heck is that?
All help appreciated.

Need a lot more info to give you a price. basicly this is not the real place to get that kind of price. Find someone in your town how lives eats and breaths old Iron and talk to him/her. I don't mean the dude who has looked at your car once or twice..someone who's life is this stuff..and tip him. you could have all sorts of things wrong or right with that tractor and we just can't get it all hashed out on a forum.
A grain drill is a planter...Don't you know who Jethro Tull is ?

Thanks for replying wall. When I get up there I will ask around and find a local tractor guru.
Good one on Jethro Tull, but now I can't get the lyrics from Aqualung out of my head!

For those of you in reolinda, Jethro Tull invented the grain drill and was the name of a clasic rock band.
Basicly, anything with tires or tracks should be looked at by a pro who lives the life...and unless your a gampbler, don't take no one's word for it unless they to live the life and have little to gain in selling over the phone
