This has presented somewhat of a problem for me as the rainy season starts and we got a cow so the barn got filled with hay instead of tractor parts...

How do you store your attachments? I have some on the driveway under tarps, some I keep on the tractor which I drive into the ailsle of the barn and then pick my way around it every day! When I dropped them into the side portion of the barn then they were difficult to hook back up again, and my ripper simply sits in the front yard! Got any ideas?

Buy a small sawmill, saw out the lumber and build a bigger barn!! :D

This is one case, where "bigger IS better"...

Hi, This is one I have also been thinking about a great deal.
My best idea so far is to have a 4-5 foot overhang on the back of the woodshed I am building. This would be on the east side so it would get the least amount of weather. Then I would build a raised wooden floor so that the attachments would be easier to attach and re attach. You know how it is, your 6' back blade is in the dirt and you can't pivot it just right to get the three point to line up!

I am sure open to ideas. I like DM's as I have always wanted a saw mill, but that not going to happen soon. ;)

Yup... It's hard to beat sawing out what ever kind of lumber you want, any time you want, mostly out of FREE logs!

Yep, my step dad lived in Veneta for quite a while and had his own mill at his place. It used circular blades, 36" main blade and I think two 12" secondary blades. When they moved over here, he sold it. But we still moved a lot of lumber!
