Sorry to hear about your keys...
BUT, keep in mind that tilling wet soil will overwork it and ruin it's structure. Tilled wet soil will form a crust on it later, not allowing oxygen and future moisture to enter it.
Over tilling and tilling soil that's too wet is the reason many think a tiller is bad for soil. It's not the tiller that's the problem, it's not knowing how to "use the tiller properly" that's the real problem.
