Tuesday August 12 Lewis Hill, author of many homesteaqding books like "Cold Climate Gardening" chose to exit this life. He had a knee replacement and was in alot of pain and depressed. He went to his sister's 90th birthday party and after returning home he ended the pain.

It's sad to hear of someone's passing, especially if they are part of "the community".

Even though he wrote 14 books and numerous articles, there is some of his knowledge that's lost forever.
