Anybody read it? It is by Barbara Kingsolver. I am in the process of reading it and it is a book I would like to own.
I would put Barbara Kingsolver close to Wendell Berry, only she has a much sharper and quicker tongue.

Yes, excellent read, and worth having. Found used copies at AbeBooks.COM and sent copies to all siblings. Someone else worth looking at is Sue Hubbel. Her older books are excellent, though not as practical as AVM.

I read this last week. I could have read a whole book about her youngest daughter's chicken business. That was a highlight for me!
