Note: I wrote this in the depths of despair that only youth can bring. After 24 years or so I still revisit it often, but I find it rather uplifting now... that which doesn't kill you sort of thing.
"Not Crazy/Just insane"
Light through a glass
Just reflections on my mind
It doesn't matter anymore
Well those who fancy class
Must beware of what they find
Lest they see I'm a bore
But me I do not bother
With the ever-ruling classes
Of society
Nor the son and his father
Kingship loving asses
In their diety
I would rather sit alone
Gazing out my window
At the rain
Forever on my own
Afraid of what I owe
In form of pain
In time I 'spose I'll die here
Staring at my sorrow
Through this pane
But for now I only cry here
Waiting for tomorrow
Not crazy --- just insane
