Have you read Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren? I'm starting it and wondered if you would "partner" me in reading it and discussing it here. It's supposed to be read daily for 40 days but I thought we might read and then discuss it a week at a time. Any thoughts on this idea?
For everyone else, it's a Christian book and I realize many of you probably aren't interested is why I asked Toad Sticker.

Our church did the 40 days of purpose with it last year. I was unable to participate at the time but my wife did if I remember right.
I will see if we have it somewhere.
I have read "the purpose driven church" a couple times. from what I saw it is very similar.
But to answer your question Yes I would like that.
Maybe we can announce it somehow to see if anyone else would like to join in.

TS I'd love to have others join us but don't know if they'd be willing. Shall we aim to start in the new year?

TS I'm going to start the book on the first of the year and will comment when I come to the library though that probably won't be daily and if the weather's nasty it won't be more often than weekly, probably after church on Sunday.

I found a copy of the journal that goes with the book at Half-Price Books the other day. It was their last one so I grabbed it quick and will use it instead of just writing in a spiral notebook like I had intended. Will post my first comments later this week or maybe wait 'till the weekend. A lot will depend on the weather as it's supposed to rain and I forgot my umbrella today.
