I am starting it today..
I had read a couple of his other books that people were big on and wasn't too impressed.
Then I read the reviews of this one when it came out and everyone was complaining about it.(it has guns and violence) So I thought I would check it out.
By far his best book (in my opinion) altho his books after this are better than before it.
Anyone have a comment yet?
Like I said I will start it today at lunch. I only read it once and that was 10 years ago when it came out.
Hope you enjoy it.

* Will see if I can get it today before I leave the library. *May have to bypass it if it can't be easily had. I'm just about out of bus fare and I probably won't get back to the library until a week from tomorrow though I'll put it on hold if it's in the system.

Well TS you got me HOOKED, to say the least. LOL ;) I must admit that it was one of the most unusual books that I've ever read. Not exactly spell-binding but a pretty good read.
Finished it! Read the first 11 chapters on Monday and the rest of it yesterday.
I'm even considering checking out a copy of "This Present Darkness" if there's still one on the shelf when I get ready to leave today and see how it is. Have you read his other books?

About this present darkness ..It is a completely different kind of book ..it is ALL about spirtual warfare and angels and demons.
Like I said this in my opinion is his best by far.
"Monster" is ok it is kind of like this one.
"Visitation" is pretty good too

TS I'm kinda lost here I think. When do we start discussing The Oath? Or did I miss the discussion about it?
