Summer is Here, lessons taught at home

Summer is here and it is the time that we increase the number of lessons that are taught at home. We do not home school because the school that they attended is an excellent small town school. During the year, we assist them with what they are learning in school and add what we consider important. However, during the summer time, we have a lesson of the day. I did not see any thread regarding what people are teaching their children, so I thought I would add one. Maybe we can gather ideas from each other.
