Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership is, to my mind, the best Second Amendment educational organization in existence.

Geez, I' a Jew and I have never heard of this organization. We don't personally own any guns for two reasons: 1) hunting is not kosher and since we are vegetarians, what would be the point. and 2) I have seen too many people in the ER, both adult and children, who have accidently shot themselves or a friend. I just knew that if we had a gun in the house, our two rambunctious and ever-curious boys would find it. Now once it's just me and Bob, I'l have no problem, except for when the grandchildren visit. I personally feel that every person has the right to defend home and self using whatever means necessary.

Thats what gun educational courses and gun safes are for. But if you would never use it, your right, what's the point in having any. Gun saftey courses are still good for children, you never know if thier friends might have one, better safe than sorry.

JFPO is the real deal. The other org. to join is the Gunowners of America (GOA). These two groups make it happen....

I have to agree, these two are really "no compromise"
Everyone should check out JPFO's "Grandpa Jack"
comics.They are a wonderful teaching tool that deals not only with gun rights, but with freedom in general.
