Dear Forum Members,

I hadn't heard these two books mentioned anywhere on the BHM Forum, so I thought I would bring them up here:

The Dangerous Book for Boys by Conn and Hal Iggulden
http://www.dangerousbookforboys.com/

The Daring Book for Girls by Andrea J. Buchanan and Miriam Peskowitz
http://www.daringbookforgirls.com/

Although these books are targeted towards pre-teen to teenagers, truthfully, they are for kids of all ages from 8 to 80 or more. They teach skills applicable to self-reliance and survival as well as lots of old-fashioned but timeless ways to have fun and hi-jinx without a TV or PC.

And here are some funny (and sometimes quirky) videos demonstrating just some of the neat stuff you can learn from these great books:

Enjoy!

We gave our boys the book for Christmas and they love we also gave them the Popular Mechinacs book. This is what kids should be doing with thier minds and energy. We also gave a copy of the girls book to my niece and she loves it

Dear Cinok,

Ain't they great? ;D

If I'm able to afford any Christmas gifts after this crisis, I may get copies for my Nephews and Nieces.
