for all those wanting a flour mill, grinder, and still saving for it. I don't have one either, been hankering for one too. well, I got wheat at the Amish store, 50 lbs for 11 bucks. I soaked a bowl full for two days, rinsing once in a while and, before it started to sprout I put it in the blender, a cupful at a time, and blended it to a mush, adding warm water as needed. to this I added yeast, salt and high gluten flower and , well , you know the procedure for making bread. I really do not care much for high and fluffy loaves, so I shaped it into individual bun like things, flattened a little, sprinkled poppy seed on some, coriander on some, baked them in the woodstove and they turned out great. I ate three. they were somewhat crusty and a little bit chewy, just the way I like it. Split in half they are great for a sandwich.
