Here is an interesting geography lesson that has to do with the "middle east".

It was an eye opener to see how many countries I didn't have a clue about, but after completing the task I at least have a better picture of the area. I thought about you home schoolers when I received this in an email. You drag the name of the country and drop it where you think it belongs. If you are incorrect you get an "X", you get as many tries as you want and there is no “score”, just correct identification with the name pasted where it belongs. Multiple repetitions could be the key to familiarization. Drills could include a timed run through the countries.
