Low Cost Medical Tests

Health insurance is expensive and so is NOT having health insurance as i'm needing some tests done. Have been price shopping for an MRI and the local hospitals charge from 1200 to 2500. I found this place:

Will have to drive 2 1/2 hours but it will only cost 530 for an MRI. It seems legit, will post back here if it's a scam.

Update:

I went to the place and was thoroughly surprised that it was a modern building in a good part of to town with very nice people. I had to have both shoulders imaged (checking for torn rotator cuff tendons). With getting both shoulders done for less than it would have cost for one, this has turned out to be a medical bargain.

It does sound like a bargain. I've had an MRI done and even with medical insurance, my out of pocket expenses were still around $800. You know how it goes, you get a bill for the procedure, then a bill for the specialists time and another bill from the medical facility.
