I know there are several over the counter and simple home ways to get rid of warts but what about moles? I have tab moles and they are driving me crazy. It's a short drive I know.
With some warts you can keep them covered with duck tape for a few weeks and they go away.
Any suggestions for moles? With Dr. visits to remove them running at a minimum $250 I'd sure like a cheaper way to do it at home.

I don't know of one, but I've thought about trying wart remover too.
My doc did tell me one thing: if a mole has a hair growing out of it, it's not skin cancer. Well, yay. There's something good about that icky thing on my face that I didn't know. (All I need is one on the end of my nose and green skin, and the effect would be complete!)

This was on the news not long ago. To remove a wart cover it with duct tape. Really! It will take two weeks or more.

Now I do not know what a tab mole is, but I do know that a good and safe way to get rid of warts is castor oil. I would give it a try on a mole too. years ago I read where someone applied Vit. E to a mole. It first turned fiery red, then disappeared. I have not tried it myself.

Nancy,
I did a little research, and I found a website that is selling a product to remove benign moles. I'm not sure what I think of it yet. It's $140 (including shipping) but treats several moles. They seem pretty up-front, but who knows? There's lots of info there, at least!
Has anyone here tried this stuff?

Hey thanks Carol Ann. I'll check it out.
$140 is cheaper than a Dr. office visit.

if your tab moles are small you can get rid of them by eliminating their blood supply. This only works if they are the little pearl kind and not the flat large based kind. All you have to do is take a pair of tweezers and pinch them hard at the base for about 30 seconds. They will fall off in a day or two. If they don't then they are probably too large. Vinegar is a good way to get rid of the flat rough discolorations that are sometimes called moles, but are really a form of dry skin with excess melanin. What I do is soak a cotton ball with vinegar and tape it to the spot over night. It usually doesn't take more than one or two treatments and these spots just rub off. I had a friend who had age spots on her hands and she soaked cotton gloves in vinegar and put them on at night and covered them with plastic bags and the age spots all went away.
Oh by the way tab moles, and excess facial hair, and discoloration of the skin are all symptoms of PCOS (Poly-Cystic Ovarian Syndrome) If you have them and irregular periods or infertility or pre-dibetic symptoms, you should have your doctor check it out.

You can simply snip off small skin tag moles with a pair of small scissors or even toe nail clippers. Larger ones can be denied a blood flow (as someone else suggested) by simply tying a rubberband around them at the base kind of like castrating livestock with bands. They fall off within a few days.
They say that they are also a sign of polyps, so you might think about that if you have any intestinal issues.
