Cut my hair cut off this morning to donate to the charity that makes wigs for women with cancer/chemotherapy.

They only need for it to be 8" long, but the hair cutting girl measured the ponytail to be about 12...

It's going to the charity at www.beautifullengths.com partnered with Pantene Pro V

Mom had breast cancer last year, so it's the least i can do. Plus it felt good getting that long mess chopped off.

Gonna grow it back out and do it again until i can't anymore. Took about 2.5 years to get it that long.

Cool!
It's a great cause!

I'm a Cancer survivor and worked for several years in the now defunct "Cancermount" program.

I still counsel young men faced with the reality of testicular cancer.

Thanks.

It's the least i could do with thoughts of mom (who's still with us and in recovery).

Never thought about it when i decided 2.5 years ago to start growing it long. Now, I'm just gonna keep doing the grow-donate cycle until i can't anymore due to too much gray hair (they won't take more than, like, 5% gray) or it falls out.

The Better Business Bureau does not consider Locks for Love a legit charity. . . . . Glad you found another place to donate.
