I have been reading a lot lately about parasites in humans. I wonder how much of it is true and how much is just a sales pitch. Has anyone tried any of these treatments that are advertised a lot now to rid people of internal parasites? Has anyone had a parasite or known anyone that did?

We all have parasitic organisms. Most are harmless, even helpfull. If it's too small to see and don't make me sick, ok. Tapeworms I can do without, lol.

we had a neighbor die of a parasite. the Doctors did not recognize it, but then a new doctor from I believe Syria recognized it, he said she caught it form her dog. there is a parasite that foxes are the main carrier, it is tiny and can even lodge in your eyes, brain, anywhere. When we lived in europe we were warned to be careful not to eat wild blueberries off the bushes.

I used to think it was all hype, until I did a colon cleanse over a year ago. I did it for several weeks using psyllum husk and certain herbs- , eating more raw fruits and veggies and drinking more fluids between meals.
Well I started to see uniform sized lima bean shape "pods" in the toilet bowl that floated to the top of the water, while the rest of the bowel movement sunk below. At first, I dismissed them as they were covered with crap (to put it bluntly)
Every day , as I colon cleansed, I kept getting them, but then they were no longer coming out covered in BM, but were coming out shiny and black.
I told my father about it and he joked that it was probably some old lima beans I had eaten years ago. Well these were fatter than lima beans and were not decayed and also very shiny.
I looked up some photos of parasites on the Web and found a website inspired from Dr. Hulda Clark t hat showed the same picture of what I was passing. They were eggs from Sheep fluke worm. I must have passed hundreds of them.
This inspired me to do an herbal parasite cleanse. Since I had no luck finding any over-the-counter parasite cleanse in any store, I ended up researching what herbs I could take that would cleanse the adults out of me. I couldnt use an anti-biotic since my doctor dismissed the whole parasite idea anyway--because I don't eat raw meat or visited a foreign country. Besides, I didnt feel like putting my bowel movement in a container to bring to the lab.
I found out that black walnut, wormwood and cloves or clove oil are the basic anti-parasite herbs you can take at one time 3 times a day before meals that really kill worms.
The cloves or clove oil kills mainly the larvea and eggs but won't really hurt the adults, but the other herbs will kill the adults-- but not touch the eggs.
I did this parasite herbal cleanse and started getting the adult flukes out this time as well as more of the black eggs. It is very easy for any healthy person to pick up sheep fluke worm just by not cleaning your produce or garden vegetables. Get a veggie wash and use that on all veggies, then rinse well. Don't just rinse with water and think it's clean.
Snails and slugs host the sheep fluke larvea and pass it on to humans through the slime they leave behind when moving over your lettuce and other veggies in your garden. I now properly clean lettuce and anything from our garden now.
I live in USA-- in Pennsylvania and the most I ever traveled abroad was to Canada. You can pick up a parasite just from eating at a salad bar.
Pinworms are a very common worm we can get this way.
If you have a cold or sinus infection , your immune system could be just a trickle low enough to permit one of the eggs or larvea to thrive in you .
Now I do twice a year parasite cleanses. A few weeks in Fall and a few weeks in Spring. I have done a liver flush as well and that is when I found out I also harbor Liver fluke worm.
They reside in your liver and eat the liver tissue there- Luckily the liver regenerates more tissue, but liver fluke really slow down your metabolism. When doing a parasite cleanse, many people see these in their bowel movements first. They are slug-like in appearance, chubby and will look coral /red in color. This is due to the B12 they take from you.
Fluke worms are very very common in the US , UK and Canada- yet some still erroneously believe they are only in oriental countries.
They do not look like the typical spaghetti round worm. They are crescent shape, flatter and chubby.
Then there is Ascaris roundworm and pinworm. Both types are very common in the Western countries as well.
These are the types of parasites that rob the body and lower the immune system- they are not the type you want in you-- such as the good bacteria that helps your digestion.
I read that we sometimes can even give certain parasite infections to our housepets. So when one does an herbal parasite cleanse, look into doing one for your dog as well- at the same time. There are many safe herbal parasite cleanses that will not be toxic to an animal.
There is a product sold online called King Bio- Paralixer
I chatted with a woman who takes in stray cats and uses it for them - as it is odorless, colorless, and has no taste. She found it very effective for them.

Bold, I'd like to see more information on what you took for the parasites. And web site addresses you used.
Thanks

My hubby goes to an alternative practitioner. He is taking black walnut for a "bacterial parasite". I am not sure how I feel about all the things the AP said. I kind of feel like she just wanted to sell two hundred dollars of snake oil. But he says he feels better.
