Huck you didnt state what type incubator you got. Is is the styrofoam ones and did you happen to get the egg turner that went with it? I have 2 of the styrofoam incubators and 2 turners. The proper temp for incubation is 100 degrees, no more no less and 60% humidity. Then on the 19th day you take the eggs off the egg turner and lay them in the incubator and raise the humidity to 90% for hatching. And all this is assuming it is still air incubator which to me is what the price indicates. Also another thing I have learned over the years of using still air incubators is that once the chicks start developing in the eggs it is hard to keep the temp down to 100. And the area where you set the incubator up will effect the temp too. I usually have about a 50% hatch rate with still air and that is considered very good. I have used these things off and on for 20 years. If ya have further questions feel free to PM or email me. Will share with ya what I have learned.

Good luck and have a great day!
