Wouldnt be speaking too loudly because it could happen because he hasnt been charged so cannot pardon himself and once he leaves office then all h-ll could break loose and no one to save his sorry soul.

Scenario--------
He gets charged--rightfully so--and gets hanged and as we all know--he will go to h-ll.
Guess what--Ole Sadamm is there already and will have seniority on him--wow--wouldnt you be happy to be there and see that?
Not to worry as many will--eventually.
I wont be included in that number but have friends who have promised to send back snapshots of it all--ha!

And yes, we can't forget Buck in this too....How pathetically sad that adults come here for conversation, and all we get handed are MORE childish cartoons and graphics. Guess we shouldn't be surprised after all this time. SSDD

The left uses ridicule because they don't have an argument.

When they are caught intentionally saying things that are not true, they dismiss it as a joke.

That was the excuse for much of the excessive slander against Gov. Palin.

Oh please, do you have a sense of humour? It's a friggin' joke, tell me that's not at least mildly amusing?

Adult discussion, I've seen so much of it around here. Most people around here want to hear only that which they've already formed an opinion on. And if they were to be presented with a differing opinion, they wouldn't even bother to take a second to think on it. If you happen to have an opinion that does not play to the majority, they scream like little kids on recess.

don't know about anyone else - i found it not even remotely amusing - and i certainly can't figure how it fits in with "adult discussion" -

It certainly does not fit in with adult discussion, never said it did. Personally I fine it amusing, senses of humour will differ.

My point, the reason I made mention of adult discussion, was in response to the other poster. And the point I was attempting to make, as I explained. Was that there certainly is not a whole lot of adult discussion going on around here to begin with. It's seems to mostly amount to one side scream, me me me to the other side. When a differing opinion or view is brought up people don't even discuss it, they dismiss it outright. You can't have a discussion if the person your having a discussion with does what amounts to putting his fingers in his ears and yelling lalalala.

don't you think a lot of that depends on the topic ?
you get one degree of involvement when the topic deals with the prettiest color for a new f-150 or which fast food chain has the best burgers for the price -
and an altogether different response when folks are talking about something that will dramatically affect their basic existence -
there are times in our lives when a little smash-face is entirely appropriate -

If people are unwilling to discuss the topic, it's not really a discussion is it? To have a discussion both party's needs to listen to each other, then respond. You don't have to agree, but you have to listen to even disagree. If your not reading what the other party is saying, and thinking on it you can't really have a discussion. What you'd have is what's commonly known as a yelling match. Smash-face as you put it has no place in a discussion, because as soon as it takes place it's no longer a discussion.

gibberish, buck - you started this thread to be insulting and demeaning - you don't need a reminder that this board includes a "humor" topic -

You should have posted under the 'humor' category then, rather than being obnoxious enough to post it here where it would irritate people.

Oh, but wait, sorry, I forgot. Deliberately irritating people is your calling, isn't it? I've seen that before; usually it's a tatic used by those who cannot hold an intelligent discussion.

Personally I don't think it's ever appropriate, it's serves no purpose and most often only serves to make the situation worse.

And it's certainly never appropriate in a discussion, because than said discussion is no longer a discussion, it's a yelling match.

Sorry Buck but you didn't get the joke. "You people" is often considered a racial slur. There was a movie out recently with Robert Downey Jr playing a black soldier in Vietnam were he asks "What do you mean You People"?

I'm not much for ridicule and such.

I almost dumped on the thread about the little dolls with the poop, but I decided I would pretend I didn't see it.

I'd rather stick to the facts. I don't need demeaning pictures or little dolls ridiculing people.

Hate to be the one to inform you, but I've been hearing the same old crap from the left for over 40 years now. Nothing new at all, and if it didn't convince me back then why would it now? Come up with something I haven't already heard ad nausium and I'll listen.
