Our neighbor caught our corn field on fire *& that caught our corn crib on fire partially burning 14 *55gal barrels of on the cob field corn . Is it safe to feed this corn to the feeder pigs or do I throw it all away? The farmers around here said is ok to feed it to the pigs but I'm just not sure. *the barrels werent in the fire , thats just how many I filed with partially burnt corn. *thanks

The pigs will be fine with it. The nice things about hogs is that the old timers always said that a hog will not eat anything harmful to them. I believe it. The hogs will root through the burned corn and pick out what is good and they will leave the bad. It's that simple.
