Update for those interested....

Well he moved out here I believe I told everyone that right? He will have been with me for a year in March. No ring yet but I have heard I love you more than once and we are happy together and my son really likes him. The school teachers say that he talks about him all the time. I started back into college in the fall and just got done with finals and will be at school for the next 2 years getting my LPN degree. He got a good job over in Cody and I am still working for the care center part time and on the ambulance when I can get all 5 schedules to work together. I passed my National registry test for EMT-B in May. We have chickens and a rabbit soon to be more rabbits. He has built me several raised beds for gardening. We went back to his home state and I met most all his family and I think his mom really likes me!.
I love him dearly and we are having a great time together. Even though I was hoping I'd get a ring for Christmas or my birthday in November I am really not worried about it cause we are happy the way we are.
Well I thought I'd let some of those die hards that haven't heard from me in a while know that things are going well so far. I hope everyone has a very merry Christmas and a happy and safe New Year!! :D ;)

Hi there,
I have been wondering how you are doing. It sounds like you have made a lot of positive changes. I think going back to school is never a bad choice. I, like you am an EMT. I run a rescue team (quit the ambulance a couple of years ago). I am headed into a two year RN program. I think choices in the nursing field are a really smart choice. Congratulations on getting into a program. The ring thing....hmmm. I believe that commitment is in the heart and not in a piece of paper or a hunk of metal. There is nothing wrong with taking it slow. It sounds like everything is going well in that department. Check in more often and keep us updated. Have a wonderful Christmas. ...Hum

;) Well i didn't get the ring but his mom brought something up to me the other day..... She said did you notice he took his suits? I said well yeah I guess so and then I did because he didn't want them wrinkled. She said I thought he had forgotten all about those but he dug them outta a closet in his old room behind a whole bunch of stuff so he musta really wanted them. So you watch an see what happens. So I told her okay.....
I honestly can't think of what he'd want them for but I had thought nothing of it at the time. She also told me that he wore them last about 6 years ago for his dad's funeral and that was the last time he'd worn them. hhhmmm??? What could he want them for I wonder.....
