I was just curious, with all of us having some of the same thoughts, or we would not be drawn to the same website. what ethical theory do most of you believe in or follow the most with out even realizing it? Philosopher's spend their lives developing and teaching theories, so has it done us any good? Utilitarianism, Virtue ethics, the Ethics of care, Kantian ethics.

I am an Objectivist. And I was one before I ever even heard about Ayn Rand! When I DID find out about her and her philosophical teachings, I ate it up, found nothing I disagreed with, and still feel as strongly as ever about it.

Peace,

Rightly so.. I believe every individual who yearns for freedom and sovereignty finds their way to the laws of governing dynamics, philosophy and individualism.

The logical effort for anyone IMHO is to do the best for theirs and themselves, then they may choose from that position of strength and security to dispense their own benevolence in the stead of and for another.

Our common thread is our desire to be, sovereign, or self sufficient, beholden to none, taxed by none, FREE and unencumbered by the demands of those who have not earned what they require, or demand what they have not earned.
