One night, while camping in the mountains, a young boy and his grandfather were gazing into the flames of the night fire. Quietly they watched the dancing formations as the fire crackled and popped... In a low voice the grandfather asked the boy "Do you see them?"... The boy loooooked and said, in almost a whisper, "Yes, Grandfather"...

As the smoke blew into the soft breeze, two wolves - one Red and one White - appeared before them in the hungry fire... The grandfather began to explain to his grandson that either wolf could be fed to grow strong and survive this life. The Red wolf represented the worst part of mankind... selfishness, hatred, greed, arrogance... But the White wolf represented the most positive things man can become... honest, patient, kind, forgiving...

As the flames swirled it appeared the two wolves were beginning to fight... The young boy stood up excitedly and asked "Grandfather!! What will happen? Which one will survive?" With kind eyes the old man gently answered the boy...

"The one that You feed"...
