View Full Version : Nature of things
Peace,
Well there it is we have a forum for the most lofty isssues of our time.
The love of wisdom is irrefutable to the enlightened mind.
I would personally like to thank the admins for their reinstatement of this room.
I would also ike to thank the lobbyists for all their efforts as well.
It is in our nature as humans to debate and discuss and sometimes argue our different points of view.

With a couple-few weeks behind us ,and a meager post rate, one reflects fondly in contentment. A "space" to weigh in on current, post, and possible philosophical "thought experiements".
Peace
Peace,
I find complete solace in the fact that there is interest in philosophy on this site, although the views far out way the posts yet, I will continue to do my best to stimulate solid philosophical understanding so there will be less "drivel" in the world. I am by no means an expert but I refuse to stop pursuing truth and knowledge. I refuse to accept a subjective view of the world. The purpose of doing philosophy is to promote understanding, harmony and stimulate free thinking, to resolve conflict not to be a proponent of it. If my words come across as "patronizing, condescending, etc," I assure you with my entire spirit this is not the case.
It is vocabulary, necessary for concise communication. The anonymity of this form of communication is extremely American on many levels.
I have no need of an ego and the worldly pain it causes, this should be kept in mind when engaging in the "thought experiments" of philosophy and your pursuit of your truth.
Peace
Peace Humans,
The philosophy forum to the best of one's ability is structured for reference to basic textbook paradigm. Chapter's will be progressively posted.
"Thought Experiment" posts/replies on given subject shall remain separate. Reference and maintenance reasons, please.
Thank you,
Peace
