View Full Version : Prayer for unborn baby

My wife is around 20 weeks pregnant with our first child, and one of her blood tests just came back indicating a risk for spina bifida. We don't know anything else at this point, and we have an ultrasound scheduled for Monday.

Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

Good news everyone! We went in for the ultrasound, and everything looks good. It must have been a false positive on the blood work.

Either that or God worked a miracle for you. :) Either way, I'm very glad that things are ok and I wish you the very best! I have 4 kids and we lost one due to a miscarriage. My kids and my wife are my life. I have 2 boys who will be 18 and 16 this year and 2 girls who are 6 and 3.

I look at them and am constantly amazed at God's grace and His goodness to me. They are truely gifts from God himself. And what an awesome responsiblity we have to train and disciple them! But what a joy it is to do that as well! :)

You're exactly right.

Another piece of news that we found out is that we're having a boy. Due date right now is December 28. I'll be sure to post back with pictures.

Praise God!

Always be wary of those stupid tests though. They're wrong more than they're right, it seems. I think they were invented just to scare pregnant women!!! >:(
