I have deleted all the forwarded email address for privacy protection. I got this from Joan, it came directly from her churches prayer warriors. Please get all these soldiers on as many prayer lists as possible.

David is in Iraq and due to be sent back to the states in three
weeks.
He called Christina this morning at 9:30 am (our time) to say goodbye to
her and their children (they have a 2 yr old and a ten month old).
He and his group will be leaving at 4 pm today (our time) on foot to go
into Baghdad.
No vehicles or tanks will be taken. Their mission will last 2 or 3
days and the purpose is to go door to door and capture all snipers in
the city.
The commanders have told the men what a dangerous mission this is
and it is
very likely that most will not come back to their base. Christina
is terrified and called on everyone in our church to pray. She said the
men are also
Fearful.
They were all told to call their families before they leave.

I'm asking each of you to pray for these men and women for the
next 3 days.
If your church has a prayer chain, PLEASE call and ask them to pray.

Lets come together in agreement to ask Jehovah God to be with your son. We ask that God's will be done in your sons life as in all things. We ask God that he watch over and protect your son from harm. We ask that you remind the boy he needs to call home often, that he is not just being careful for himself, he has a parent that loves him and wants him home safe.

God we ask that you send your peace to docjered. Give him peace , faith, and strength in abundance to bear what he has went through, in the loss of his wife and beloved mother. We ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ.

I am so sorry--

I will pray for your strengh and peace.
I lost my Mother brother and SiL all within 9mos of each other--Some how the grace and strengh came to me to survive it all.

Please --take care of Your self I pray.
And I ask Almighty God to surround Doc's boy---with mighty angels--and guard him.
