When I went down to my rabbits this monring, I noticed my buck had some kind of a weird cream colored substance on his board that he sits on.

I was afraid it might be pus, like he had an infection or something. So I took him out of his cage and gave him a good look over. His feet looked good as did his fur. and everything else. He has a wire cage where the dropping fall out and are never built up. I do have a small piece of plywood in there for him to rest on and give him some straw once in awhile that is usually all fallen through the wires floor in a couple of days. But he's never had a dirty cage floor since he's been here and didn't from the breeder I bought him from.

Is it semen or like substance? I don't think it's diareha, I've changed the straw and wood shavings under his cage and he has well formed droppings. Would coccidiosis look like this?

Ideas? Help?

Just off hand it sounds to me like hes just been peeing on his board. Rabbit urine is very thick and creamy and will build up and crystalize. Its not unusual for rabbits to pee on their sitting boards. If he is eating properly and otherwise looking healthy he is probably just fine. If that had been pus from an infection he would put off an awfull smell, not be eating well and would be running a very high tempurature from an infection.
