Got my entry level ham ticket on Sunday. Should have a call sign in a week or so. Now I need to start studying for my general class. Don't even have any ham gear yet, but the first of this last weekends group to go general, will win a radio as a prize.OzarksJohn

John! Congrats!! I've been studying and passing on-line tests since April but, every time a test date comes up, life throws a wrench in my gears.
Get to studying on the Gen. A free rig would be cool, huh?

I recently passed my technician class license also. I have yet to get any gear also. We are having a local hamfest the first weekend in October. I will probably buy something then. My call sign is KC9NMN
